Terms and Conditions

• Learn the vocabulary of Quranic Arabic through short, focused lessons
• Practise with spaced repetition so words come back just before you forget them
• Check your recall with Araby AI Recall, which grades your typed answers on your iPhone
• Track your goal and progress — all of it stored on your device

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• Users under 18 require parental or guardian consent.
• You must have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

By using Araby, you may:

• Study Quranic Arabic vocabulary and work through lessons at your own pace
• Practise recall by typing answers, graded on your device
• Track your learning progress and spaced repetition schedule on your device

You agree:

• To only submit content you have the right to share
• Not to use the Service for any unlawful or harmful purpose
• Not to attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the Service

We take your privacy seriously. Araby has no accounts and no server of ours. Your name and progress never leave your device; we receive only pseudonymous usage and crash data tied to a random install identifier. Refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how your information is handled.

• Araby is free to use, with an optional Araby Pro subscription that unlocks the full course.
• Araby Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. It renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. All billing is handled by Apple; we never see or store your payment details.
• You can cancel or manage the subscription only in App Store settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel it.
• We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat identifies your purchase with its own anonymous identifier, which is deliberately kept separate from the app so resetting your data cannot destroy an active subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Fees are otherwise non-refundable except where required by law.
• We may update pricing with prior notice; changes take effect at your next renewal.

• Your name, your answers, and your learning progress belong to you and are stored on your device.
• Because the app has no accounts and no server of ours, we never receive your name, your answers, or your progress.
• The usage and crash data we do receive is pseudonymous and is described in full in the Privacy Policy.
• We do not sell your data or use it to train any models.

You must not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the app
• Distribute modified or repackaged versions of the app
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose

Araby AI Recall uses Apple Intelligence, built into iOS, to grade the answers you type. The grading runs entirely on your iPhone — your answers are never uploaded, and no third-party AI service is involved. Automated grading can still be wrong: if you believe an answer was marked unfairly, trust your own judgement and carry on.

• The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or bug-free operation.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use.
• Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Because the app does not use accounts, there is nothing for us to terminate. You can erase everything at any time with “Reset All Data” or “Delete Account” in Profile, or by deleting the app from your device. Note that deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription — you must cancel that in App Store settings.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of England and Wales.
